TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. SCOPE OF SERVICE AND LIABILITY LIMITATION

Straight Shot Mobile Mechanics ("Service Provider") liability is limited exclusively to the specific repair or service that has been diagnosed and agreed upon by the customer ("Client"). Service Provider is not responsible for any vehicle damage, mechanical failure, or malfunction arising from conditions or components not directly related to the diagnosed service work.

2. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS AND CUSTOMER INSPECTION

Service Provider performs a visual inspection of the vehicle and components related to the diagnosed issue. If Service Provider identifies hazardous, unsafe, or failing components that are not part of the agreed-upon service, Service Provider will notify the Client of these conditions and recommend repair.

Client Assumption of Risk: If the Client chooses to refuse recommended repairs after being notified of unsafe or deteriorated conditions, the Client assumes full responsibility for any subsequent failure, damage, or safety issues resulting from that component. Service Provider shall not be held liable for damage caused by the Client's decision to defer or decline recommended maintenance.

3. WARRANTY AND WORKMANSHIP

Service Provider warrants that all work performed under this service agreement will be completed in a professional and competent manner in accordance with industry standards. This warranty applies solely to the workmanship and materials used in the specific service performed.

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

• Neglect or deferred maintenance by the Client
• Pre-existing wear, rust, corrosion, or deterioration
• Components or systems not included in the service agreement
• Client refusal of recommended repairs
• Environmental factors or accidents after service completion
• Improper maintenance or use after service by the Client

4. INSPECTION FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Service Provider may discover deteriorated, unsafe, or failing components during service. All such findings will be communicated to the Client in writing or verbally before proceeding with work. The Client must acknowledge receipt and understanding of any safety recommendations.

If the Client elects not to proceed with recommended repairs for identified hazardous conditions, the Client must sign or verbally confirm acceptance of this risk. Service Provider will document this decision in service records.

5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By accepting service from Straight Shot Mobile Mechanics, the Client hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless Service Provider from all claims, damages, or liability arising from:

• Vehicle components or conditions not included in the diagnostic service agreement
• Pre-existing deterioration or wear on any vehicle system
• The Client's decision to decline recommended repairs or maintenance
• Subsequent failure of components identified but not repaired per Client request
• Events, accidents, or mechanical failures occurring after service completion that are unrelated to the performed work

This release applies to personal injury, property damage, loss of use, and economic damages.

6. WRITTEN SERVICE AGREEMENT

All service performed by Straight Shot Mobile Mechanics will be documented in a written service agreement or invoice specifying:

• The diagnosed issue(s)
• The specific work to be performed
• Parts and labor involved
• Any noted safety concerns or deteriorated components
• Client approval of recommendations or documented refusal

The Client agrees that this document serves as the complete statement of work and the basis for liability determination.

7. CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

By requesting service, the Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate information about vehicle history and known issues
• Acknowledge receipt of all recommendations and safety notices
• Maintain the vehicle according to manufacturer specifications after service
• Report any concerns or additional issues to Service Provider within 48 hours of service completion

8. LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

Service Provider's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the cost of the service work performed under the disputed agreement. In no event shall Service Provider be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
